New expendable pallets are available in all kinds of configurations: different sizes, different qualities, with or without ISPM 15 heat treatments, kiln-dried or fresh wood—just about any way you might like them. As the name suggests, expendable pallets, however, cannot be used in an exchange system like the well-known Euro-pallets. But if you don’t need that, expendable pallets can be a very economical option. They’re often used for lighter goods, though they can be produced to any specification.
